Limescale, mineral and oil deposits build up in our coffee machines. This build-up is worse if you have hard water as it contains a high mineral content. Some traditional methods can take much longer to achieve results and are unsuitable for some appliances. It is not advisable to use harsh acids, like sulphuric acid, which is hazardous, poisonous and can corrode some surfaces.

How to Use
Always refer to the Manufacturer’s User Manual prior to using this product. Premix 50mL of Magic Coffee Machine Cleaner™ with 450mL water before using as below. For stubborn or heavy scale, mix 100-150mL of Magic Coffee Machine Cleaner™ with 450mL water.
Coffee/Espresso/Pod Machines (Descale monthly)
- Remove water filters from your appliance, if fitted. Pour the premixed solution into the water compartment.
- Run approximately 1 cup of solution through the descale cycle into a cup (use standard brew cycle if no descale option available). Wait 10 minutes.
- Run the balance of the solution through the steam wand (if fitted) into a cup covering the end of the wand. Wait 10 minutes.
- Always rinse the machine thoroughly with clean water after cleaning process.
Kettles, Jugs & Urns (Descale monthly)
- Pour the premixed solution into the appliance. Ensure the scale is covered by solution, add extra water if required.
- Bring appliance to boil and wait 5-10 minutes for descaler to work.
- Empty appliance and rinse thoroughly before use.
Handy Hint: Use Magic Stainless Steel Cleaner & Protector™ on your stainless steel appliances to add shine and a protective layer.
Note: Not suitable for use with aluminium or appliances sensitive to acid (such as enamel, marble, silver or zinc plated).
Safety & First Aid
Contains: Citric Acid 40% w/v.
SAFETY DIRECTIONS: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
FIRST AID: For advice, contact a Poisons Information Centre (e.g. phone Australia 13 11 26; New Zealand 0800 764 766) or a doctor (at once). If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. If in eyes, hold eyelids apart and flush the eye continuously with running water. Continue flushing until advised to stop by a Poisons Information Centre or a doctor, or for at least 15 minutes. If skin or hair contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and flush skin and hair with running water.
