How to Use
- Clean the area to be fixed or filled, by removing any loose material and dust.
- When opening the inner seal, place the tub on a flat surface to avoid spillage. Mix the stove putty thoroughly until an even consistency is reached.
- Pre-wet porous surfaces and apply with a putty knife or suitable tool.
- Allow a minimum of 24 hours to dry – cold, humid and wet weather will prolong the drying time. Product will be rock-hard when set. Can be painted after 7 days.
Note:Â Not recommended for use outdoors, unless it is protected from wet weather by a roofed area. To avoid unused product drying out, keep lid tightly closed and store away from heat. For large repairs and replacing broken bricks use Firewise Instant Brick Castable Cement.
